The Travel Corporation Conservation Foundation (CF) is a not-for-profit organisation founded and supported by the companies that make up The Travel Corporation.

Our utmost and inherent respect for the people and regions in which we operate has been integral to the success of the Travel Corporation.

The World Tourism Organisation (WTO) states that sustainable tourism development is striking a suitable balance between the environmental, economic and socio-cultural aspects of tourism.

This balance is needed in order to guarantee its long-term sustainability (2004).

It is these principles that provide a guide for CF’s future development. Projects are chosen based on their ability to benefit the local community, protect the environment and preserve a region’s heritage.

To date, CF has raised in excess of USD$2 million, with more than USD$1.5 million invested in projects. There are currently a number of additional projects under consideration, with plans to either extend or increase contributions to existing projects.
