October 2011: Uniworld Boutique River Cruises has an expertly planned 2012 Europe cruise showcasing
Floriade so horticulture fans can enjoy the spectacle while also sailing on the elegant River Ambassador.
It is one of 32 itineraries ranging from 8 to 32 days along the region’s great waterways within Uniworld’s
2012 Europe and Russia programme.

visitors having to coach from nearby cities in Holland or Germany.

The 2012 World Horticultural Exposition Floriade is taking place from April 5 to October 7, 2012 in Venlo, the Netherlands. Referred to as the Theatre of Nature, this global spectacle, held only once every 10 years, has the world's most exquisite and exceptional flowers, plants and trees on display.
More than 100 exhibitors from dozens of countries will together pay tribute to the world of horticulture. There are five themed worlds, each with its own décor, and cultural programs of music, dance, literature, theatre and visual art. Each world is designed for visitors to see, feel and experience nature in a constantly changing way.
