Anaheim, October 2011 – This September, Trafalgar (www.trafalgar.com) was the proud recipient of six Magellan Awards from Travel Weekly. Presented to travel companies across America to recognize everything from exceptional design to marketing services, the Magellan Awards honor the best work in the travel industry and the outstanding professionals behind the brands.

Trafalgar swept the Tour Operator category with three Gold awards for their At Leisure promotional video, Europe consumer direct mail, and Europe “What’s New” trade collateral. Three more awards were presented to the brand in the Silver category for their At Leisure marketing campaign, direct mail offer, and promotional video for Italian guided vacations. The judging panel was comprised of qualified professionals throughout the industry, including famed author Patricia Schultz of 1000 Places to See Before You Die, popular travel blogger Johnny Jet, and travel editor for CBS News Peter Greenberg.
